Software Development engineer.
Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Rate: 85/hr.

Needs to be an excellent resource having all the skills mentioned.

Direct day to day programming issues by interacting with technical personnel and internal/external clients. Maintain software to provide quality service levels to external/internal clients for products offered. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Direct technical support issue resolution.
2. Analyze, code & test software bug fixes through follow-up to internal/external clients.
3. Manage support projects.
4. Maintain technical documentation
5. Present technical client training.
6. Maintain an in depth understanding of the organization and the business in order to resolve arising problems and issues.
7. Performs other duties as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science of equivalent education in related discipline is required. Related work experience may be substituted for educational requirement.

Job Related Experience: 5-7 years

Management Experience: 1 3 years experience in employee supervision and/or project management is optimal

Functional Area Skills/Knowledge:

1. Ability to solve problems that require extensive data gathering, investigation, review, and analysis to define the problem, locate its source, and then develop/implement solutions. Sources are difficult to define before developing appropriate solutions. Problem-solving requires the use of complex analytical techniques and innovative thinking.
2. General responsibilities and objectives are assigned with considerable latitude for defining actions and setting priorities.
3. Ability to make innovations that will affect the job and suggest changes to the immediate supervisor that affect other related jobs.
4. Ability to read, understand, and interpret complex business or technical subjects; must be able to discuss or explain this data with others, either internal or external to Fiserv.
5. Expert Knowledge of distributed systems, C#, ASP.NET, SQL 2008
6. Knowledge of accounting principles preferred.
7. Knowledge of relationship of how software relates to hardware used.
8. Knowledge of software analysis and resolution.
9. Ability to resolve and follow up on software support issues.
10. Strong leadership skills with ability to Lead personnel and resolve problems.
11. Ability to multi-task.
12. Excellent communication skills with ability to interact well with others and form consensus.
