Job Summary:
The Ariba Developer is responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of multiple components of application code across one or more clients. The Ariba Developer is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of complex modules and those that interface with other applications. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, code, and as required test enhancements to complex modules.
Work with Application Architects/Business Process Architects/Specialists and other Ariba Developers to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
Develop system specifications and interfaces for complex components.
Design and code applications to functional and technical programming standards.
Provide primary support toward installation of application releases into production as directed.
Coordinate and participate in structured peer reviews / walkthroughs.
Plan and execute all required process steps as defined in Accenture methodologies.
Create operational documentation for the Application.
Coordinate work with other Ariba Developers on and across Applications.
Provide application/technical support as required, in a timely manner.
Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.
Provide input to assist in determining level of effort
Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems, rather than reactive.
Continuously develop industry knowledge and associated skills.
Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the application.

Maintain primary responsibility for the development and enhancements, when applicable, to the following Ariba component:

JOB SUMMARY

The position is accountable for overall success of the implementation of the HIPAA ASC X12 5010 project. This includes responsibility for defining, implementing, managing and completing gap analysis, planning, communications and overall project execution. The position manages activities of internal and outsourced teams with all aspects of the project and alignment with the overall schedule. Responsibilities include establishing project plans, tasks, setting deadlines, determining resource allocation/utilization, monitoring and summarizing progress, and identifying and optimizing resources across teams.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 
Initiation
§  Work with Business Sponsor to develop project scope document and high level business requirements.
§  Develop master project work plan and resources required to support the plan
Communication
§  Develop and maintain detailed work plans regarding the development and execution of all necessary internal and external communications
§  Establish and lead communication meetings with executive sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders as needed
Issue and Risk Management
§  Document, monitor, and work aggressively to resolve issues and risks identified by all team members
§  Actively develop and adjust issue and risk mitigation plans as the project progresses
§  Escalate to the Business Sponsor those issues and risks that require Steering Committee and/or Senior Leadership involvement
Status Reporting
§  Develop and implement weekly project status reporting process
§  Oversee delivery of the weekly project status report provided to Project Sponsors and Stakeholders
§  Report project status as needed on an ad-hoc basis
§  Monitor actual monthly spending against plan/budget and report any variances to the Business Sponsor
Sponsor & Stakeholder Meetings

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

-         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, parallel projects. Experience with overall project responsibility for large scale projects (i.e. $1M+), 10+ project team members with multiple sub projects and project managers/leads
-         Sizes solution(s) in terms of IT resources and capital using a cost estimation model such as function points
