Position: Junior Java developer
Location: Palo Alto CA.
Duration: 6 months

Job Description:
Help develop and maintain custom UI frameworks and widget sets as well as backend frameworks for COMAND Online (in-vehicle driver centric web apps)
o Help to contribute to framework design and help to Document component design.
o Initial production of documented code;
o Initial Debug and bug-fix code. Conduct performance optimization.
o Sit in on and add value to code reviews
o Perform unit testing (manual and automated)
o Coach and tutor internal and external SW developers in how to utilize frameworks


Some successful track record in development of web apps and web frameworks (frontend, backend) or middleware components
Dynamic web programming skills: Java J2EE, HTML, Javascript, CSS, can be educational.
Experience with Google Web Toolkit preferred
Experience with Java Spring framework is only a plus
Experience with mySQL or MS SQL Server
Experience in team environment, including design, coding, and revision control practices
Excellent communication and team work skills
