Responsibilities:
* Directs the development of IT strategy that supports the company’s strategic business plan; coordinates this effort across IT.
* Lead matrix team of people who have responsibility for strategy and development, including systems and application development, vendor management, and legacy systems integration.
* Require close collaboration with business customers in examining solution options and in planning and managing multiple IT centric projects.
* Collaborate with IT management and IT colleagues to translate corporate/functional business and information objectives into an IT strategic/tactical business plan and systems development. Consults within the IT organization to develop appropriate support for IT centric projects from various technology and service departments; integrate activities with business units, corporate departments, and IT departments to ensure the successful implementation and support of project efforts.
* Collaborates with the finance department and various functional managers to ensure IT operational budgets are properly estimated and controlled; provide overall financial recommendations, and develop controls and measurements to monitor progress.
* Develop, analyze and report IT resource requirements to support objectives (e.g., staffing, costs) needed to meet objectives via resource modeling efforts. Participates in and often may lead vendor management efforts pertaining to sourcing.
* Provides input to the development of corporate IT standards and policies to ensure compatibility and integration throughout the company.
* Negotiates IT centric contracts. Approve/Manage subcontracting and vendor evaluation studies pertaining to the IT organization.
* Stay current in new IT technologies.
* Create and sustain business literacy and understanding of business processes in the IT organization
* Facilitate communication between all key IT groups and the customer community via participation in meetings and the creation of status reporting mechanisms (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
* Supports the Senior Technical Staff Members with regard to large scale initiatives through resource modeling and providing complex analysis and reporting to Senior IT management.

Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
* 3-5 years of IT and business experience in strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms.
* Previous technical management experience in a dynamic high-technology environment is a key to success in this position.

Knowledge of unique aspects of release management and automation with respect to Portal
Experience in IBM Websphere Portal v6.x design and development including developing JSR 168/286 Portlets, WSRP, JSPs and Servlets, SOAP-based Web Services, RAD, Portlet Factory and/or Eclipse IDE
Strong knowledge of WebSphere Portal components, services and frameworks (WCM, PDM, WMM/PUMA, Personalization, Themes/Skins, Portlet Wiring, Access Control, etc.)
Strong experience in Java/J2EE enterprise level application design and development

Job Description
Ability to analyze what legacy systems will be adversely impacted by the ERP deployment and drive towards a solution (report not needed, report needs converted, report needs sustained in legacy system etc)
Ability to drive business and process team members through the process of understanding and uncovering business needs/intent and reporting requirements.
Ability to understand the gaps of the Oracle/Legacy solution and global solution and recommending solutions and a reporting strategy.
Ensure reporting needs have been assessed and addressed through thorough inquiry and discovery.
Interacts with business clients to define, analyze, and deliver customer requirements.
Responsible for understanding business/user requirements and translating those requirements into appropriately designed solutions
Research reporting problems and defects as identified by QA, customers, etc.; identify appropriate solutions.

Able to work with other members of the End User Reporting team to ensure a complete solution to reporting needs is designed.


Required Skills
Experience: 1+ year of working with or developing data warehouses and leveraging tools to query the data such as OBIEE, Cognos etc.

Experience: 1+ year with legacy Order Management processes or Supply Chain processes

Candidates must possess strong technical skills including;
Understanding the manufacturing process of steel from the Order Management or supply chain component.
Data and database analysis, design, development and architecture
Reports requirements gathering and documentation experience

Candidates must have the ability to:
Understand the functional capabilities of the Oracle/Legacy system and translate the business requirements into functional requirements.
Quickly grasp new concepts and methods

Requirements:
