Title: Sr. WebSphere Portal Architect
Location: Owings Mills,Md.
Duration: 6+months
Here are the critical skills for this position
Has ability and experiance to architect highly-available and scalable WebSphere Portal 6.0/6.1 systems
Knowledge of unique aspects of release management and automation with respect to Portal
Experience in IBM Websphere Portal v6.x design and development including developing JSR 168/286 Portlets, WSRP, JSPs and Servlets, SOAP-based Web Services, RAD, Portlet Factory and/or Eclipse IDE
Strong knowledge of WebSphere Portal components, services and frameworks (WCM, PDM, WMM/PUMA, Personalization, Themes/Skins, Portlet Wiring, Access Control, etc.)
Strong experience in Java/J2EE enterprise level application design and development
Knowledge of various methods to integrate existing applications into portal
Use of multiple virtual portals and experience with IBM Web Content Management
Performance testing and tuning of Portal
Should have very good knowledge about security and LDAP
HealthCare experiance is preferred.
Make sure person is really dynamic and good at communication
Exposure to Mobile Platform and ability/experiance of creating enterprise moblie strategy.

| Contractor must have knowledge of application and infrastructure systems, middleware, open gateways, and multiple database technologies. This individual will have to coordinate and construct the design, management, and development of multiple projects and select the most efficient and reliable technologies to meet the demands of the business group. A Lead Portal Architect with skills & experience in the following areas: 1. Developing Enterprise reference architecture 2. Leading and defining industry standard best practices including Portal security strategy 3. Developing Portal standards for development, content management using Teamsite 4. Having good understanding of business processes, risk management and IT controls 5 Good knowledge of IBM Websphere Portal v6 & v7 and J2EE Exposure to Mobile Platform and ability/experiance of creating enterprise moblie strategy. | | ||||
