Job Description :
Responsibilities:
·
Implementation and support of JBOSS across
multiple applications.
·
Serve as a liaison between Operations,
Infrastructure and Software Development regarding the implementation and
maintenance of the environments.
·
Monitor log files, performance issues and the
production environment for mission critical systems.
·
Gain understanding of the functionality of the
business area applications and assist in tailoring the environment to meet the
users' needs.
·
Serve as a member of the project team,
participating in and validating technology decisions.
·
Deploy, manage, monitor, and maintain JBoss
Enterprise Middleware (this is not a development role).
·
Provide 2nd and 3rd level escalation and on-call
support.
Requirements:
·
JBoss Application Server Administration.
·
JBoss Application Server load balancing and
clustering.
·
Linux/Unix Administration.
·
Server Monitoring.
·
Moderate scripting skills: any of Java/Jscript,
XML, PERL, shell, etc.
·
Experience designing logical and physical
application and data flow diagrams.
·
Tomcat.
·
Apache.
·
J2ee
·
Message Queuing.
·
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
·
Solid troubleshooting skills are a must.
·
Excellent communication skills both verbal and
written are required.
