Duration: 1+Year

Job Description:

·         Experience in the setup, configuration , managing and supporting Oracle 10g / 11g , sizing and performance tuning database (Solaris and Linux platform experience preferred).

·         Resolution of DB issues and analysis.

·         Experience performing Production support.

·         Backup and recovery, storage management, use of ASM and RMAN.

Required Skills:

·         Oracle 10g/11g RAC , SQL and UNIX Shell scripting. 

·         Oracle certification required.

·         General Operating Systems: Linux and Solaris.

Urgent need for Support Engineer

Position: Support Engineer

Location: San Jose CA/ Raleigh NC

Duration: 1+Year

Job Description:

·         They should have in depth understanding and hands on experience of UNIX and LINUX operating systems (they are using Linux and going away from UNIX).

·         Ability to Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

·         Should have worked on User administration—adding/deleting users (Cisco primarily) and customers.

·         Should be comfortable performing Platform changes as a result of customization of the default build and should be able to perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. It will be a plus to have some hands on remedy experience.
