ETL Developer

The principal consultant is completely fluent in all aspects of the ETL implementation language as well as the semantics and operation of the framework and understands the in-bound/out-bound data requirements for two or more of the Companies applications. He / She will be expected to own an entire solution as well as take on the implementation of solution components of medium to high complexity.

Skill Sets
5+ years of experience, 2 years implementing enterprise ETL solutions
Broad knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL particularly using PL/SQL in ETL work

Experience working in a support organization or support capacity

Experience with SSIS, Microsoft SQLServer technology

Experience reverse-engineering someone else’s code

Good knowledge of data warehouse and dimensions structures such as star schemas
Knowledge of shell and batch scripting
Proven ability to implement enterprise data warehouse solutions
BS in Computer Science or related discipline

Skill Requirements and Job Description

Required Skills:
• Experience with Oracle Service Bus version 10g.
• At least 1 year experience in OSB development.
• At least 1 year experience working with the following OSB techniques:
o OSB Workshop.
o Understanding of Cust files, their use and how to apply them.
o Generating, Importing/Exporting jar (sbconfig.jar) files.
o Content based routing.
o Thorough understanding of XML and XML Namespaces.
o Thorough understanding of WSDLs.
o Demonstrated use of proxies with SOAP or REST transports.
o Demonstrated use of proxies with WS Security.
o Demonstrated use of business services using Service Accounts.
o Experience with asynchronous and synchronous pipelines.
• Experience using SOAP UI or its equivalent.
• Experience using XML Spy or its equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience in Java development.
• Self starter, independent, but also team oriented.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and requests simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

   Infrastructure, Business Analysts, and third parties).
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Perl UNIX Developer

Position : Perl UNIX Developer

Responsibilities:

·         Gathering requirements from end users.
·         Analyze requirements and generate functional and technical specifications.
·         Create technical solutions for identified requirements.
·         Resolve production related issues.
·         Escalate issues to team management and end users in a timely manner.

Essential Experience:

·         Candidate should have minimum 5+ years experience in the IT industry with financial background or 8+ years in the IT industry if there is no financial background
·         Perl, Sybase, Unix (Solaris preferable)
·         Minimum 5+ years of overall programming experience
·         Minimum 4+ years of SQL programming
·         Minimum 3+ years of Perl programming
·         Minimum Bachelors degree

Supplementary Experience:


·         I Knowledge of Fixed Income products, Equities and a general understanding of Financial Regulation
  • Prior experience of working in the Financial Regulatory area
  • Java, Oracle, J2EE, Unix shell scripts
·         Ability to multi-task
  • Willingness to learn
  • Prior experience in the Financial IT Regulatory area or any Finance IT back office area is desirable but not essential
