Position: Performance Tester

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6-8 plus months

Performance Lead

-       8+ years of experience in managing performance engineering projects

-       5+ years of experience in any load testing tool (Load Runner preferred)

-       Good working Knowledge of the following Monitoring tools Site Scope, Wily Introscope & Other J2EE monitoring tools

-       Experience in performance testing Web-based, Middleware and Mainframe applications on different environments

-       5+ years of awareness of Software Development Life Cycle, agile processes etc

-       2+ years of experience in web applications using Java/.NET based technologies

-       Excellent skills in effective communication , people management and ability to articulate complex IT concepts to management and status reporting

-       Ability to manage offshore/onshore resources

-       Strong experience in understanding test plans, project plans, Performance test Scenarios using requirements and design documents, Testing Overview, Approach, Strategy, Scope, Architecture, Environment, Roles and Responsibilities.

-       5+ years of managing a small team of perf eng resources. Work allocation of resources in the areas of load testing, capacity planning, diagnostics, monitoring, profiling etc.

Additional Skill Sets is a plus

-       PMP/Scrum master certification

-       Good understanding of banking/financial industry

-       Prior experience of handling web app infrastructure design/tuning

-       Understanding of network gear such as firewalls, load balancers, caching devices, CDN etc
