In this Java/J2EE Lead Architect position, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Follow established written procedures, guidelines and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions.
* Complete code and other deliverables on schedule.
* Participate in test plan creation and the testing process.
* Perform thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of problems according to standards.
* Participate in production deployments.
* Provide complete documentation (Commented code, Problem status info, & design documents.)
* Use Source Control to manage project versions and code changes.
* Individual contributor role; requires consultant that is fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed.
* Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project.
* Provide guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates.

The position requires the following qualifications:
* Bachelors degree (or higher) in IS, Computer Science or related field
* Must understand the systems development process and have a solid understanding of business processes
* Knowledge on Unit testing, and QA test plans implementations and review
* Ability to debug and solve complex problems
* Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed
* 5-7 Years of OOP experience in Java/J2EE technologies
* 2-3 Years Application Architecture experience
* Ability, willingness to create complex code as well as leading a team
* 3-5 Years experience with Oracle and Rational Architecture
* Exceptional Verbal and Written communication skills
* Ideally some exposure to .NET and SQL Server
