Job Position  :     C# Visual Studio Consultants

Location        :       Nevada

Duration      :        4-6 months

Rate              :       $45/hr

QUALIFICATIONS:

B.S. in Software Engineering or related technical degree.

Minimum 3 years’ experience software development with C#.

Desired 2+ years’ experience software development with C++.

Minimum 3 years’ experience using Microsoft Visual Studio development tools.

Minimum 3 years’ experience writing automated unit tests for their own code using either NUnit or MSTest.

Excellent communication skills.

Able to participate on a global project team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Eliminate all of our current build warnings and turn on treating warnings as Errors on every project including test projects.  This will help get them familiar with the tools and codebase.

Be embedded into our local Framework team on an Agile/Scrum team working in 2-week sprints.

Be able to engineer code using a Test-Driven Development approach.

Be able to break down their assignments into small workable chunks to support continuous integration and check-in daily.

Be able to document their designs as well as provide adequate API documentation and tutorials.  Since they are on a Framework team their customers are our internal development teams so having useful documentation is important.
