Strong Business / Healthcare PM VERY important, Sales and Marketing knowledge – NO IT PMs please
Position: Project Manager II
Duration: 6+months
Location: Owings Mills, Maryland
Rate : $50/hr.
Requirements:
• Project Management Professional certification required.
• Four-year degree in CIS/MIS or equivalent experience of 5 - 7 years of related IT project management experience in a large scale, cross functional, multi-system environment.
• At least 5 years healthcare experience.
• Experience on projects or implementations involving Sales/Marketing systems (e.g., Retention/Recapture, CRM, Campaign Management, etc.) a plus.
• Subject matter expertise in any of the following relevant areas: group insurance, marketing research and analysis, sales communications.
• Experience with analyzing and redesigning workflows, process mapping and process improvement desirable.
• Progressive information systems Project Management experience (which could include consulting) with state-of-the-art hardware and software systems is desirable
• Experience executing multiple related development projects simultaneously, particularly as Project Manager on systems development, with working knowledge of Systems development lifecycle and the Project Management Lifecycle.
• Experience managing high performing cross-functional teams in a large matrix organization required.
• Experience using Clarity preferred.
• Experience with data mining (extracting and managing data from multiple files and databases) projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of CareFirst systems and applications a plus
