Position: Data Conversion Lead

Location: White Marsh (Baltimore), MD

Rate: DOE/hr

Description: 3-4 month contract

H1 and C2C is ok for this and F2 F is a must after telephonic interview 

NOTE: The client is ultimately looking for someone with experience managing data conversion projects.  They are under a tight timeline, and need someone to plan and coordinate the end-to-end data conversion effort. Looking for someone who has done mock conversions and can plan for what data gets converted first after the go-live date of July 4th.

·          Our client, a leader in the Energy Industry, has an immediate opening for a Data Conversion Lead to join their team in a contract role. 

Responsibilities:

·          Coordinate multiple teams working on data conversion development activities

·          Develop consolidated schedule of data conversion development and testing activities

·          Assist with test planning and mock conversion planning

·          Establish and track metrics for data conversion completeness

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Experience managing data conversion efforts

SQLServer 2005

Microsoft Project

Functional Skills:

Managing diverse development and testing teams

Leadership ability

Extensive Data Conversion experience
