Need DB2 Certified consultant
*** Specialized/Practical Knowledge:
7 or more years experience in SAP Basis Administration with emphasis on SAP R/3 and SAP NDPs. Knowledge of DB2 9.X is must. Experience with supporting productive SAP systems in unix, linux and windows environment, preferably on Redhat, HP-UX, Windows Server 2K+. Experience with upgrading SAP systems. Oracle and MaxDB database administration will be advantage along with Unix and Windows scripting.
Desirable but not required: Experience SRM, SAP BW/BI, XI/PI administration, Portal experience, Solution manager administration Unicode conversions, and various other 3rd party software.
*** Management Skill: Will provide direction to people and projects in terms of technical advice to team members, timely and accurate input into project plans, and status reporting to project managers. i.e., for providing technical input to project plans for work to be provided by the Basis Team. Will be seen as technical manager for SAP matters..
*** Interaction:
Interacts regularly with functional leaders and sometimes top execs.Uses persuasion and influence to work towards resolution. This is a customer facing position
*** Accountability: This individual will function with general direction from management. For many activities in conjunction with a fellow team member, but may be called upon to interface with clients during client visits. Presentation skills and high degree of technical skills a plus.
