ERP Accounting Business Analyst
Loc: Pittsburg

We are seeking an ERP Accounting Business Analyst in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for our client. The ERP Accounting Business Analyst will work closely with the lead Solution Architect and Record to Report process teams to plan and execute related work activities in regards to the design, build and deployment of the client's standardized global solution in Oracle E-Business Suite, Release 12.

Major Responsibilities:
Focus of the ERP Accounting Business Analyst will center on the Oracle General Ledger and Subledger Accounting applications.
Interact with various business groups in the organization to facilitate cross-functional implementation of new or improved business process requirements for all ERP related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.
Assist with the integrated design, build, test and deploy phases of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 modules to ensure that all financial transactions are being appropriately tracked and accounted in the integrated manufacturing costing solution. This will include Oracle modules, such as: Process Manufacturing, Discrete Inventory, Accounts Receivable (Invoicing), Procurement/Accounts Payable, Project Accounting and Fixed Assets
Work with the ERP Testing Team to resolve system and process issues noted during testing phases
Work with the Change & Learning team to develop the necessary training materials.
Provide consultation and second tier application and training support to staff on issues to ensure compliance.
Identify and communicate requirements and dependencies with client legacy systems groups.
Ensure adherence to project methodology and ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and in a quality manner for the process team
Facilitate design workshops with business users
Support the Finance end-user community by providing research, analysis and problem resolution to team members.



Ideal Experience:
Experience with the Oracle Application Suite
- Oracle implementation and project deployment life cycles
- Post production support operation and maintenance
- Current business analyst leveraging the applications on a day to day basis.
Experience with a multi-ledger Release 12 application configuration supporting multiple Accounting treatments in a Global Oracle Application Instance.
Experience with integration design and testing of Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Maintenance, Operation and Payroll applications with the General Ledger and Sub-Ledger Accounting
Experience with the monthly subledger and General Ledger closing processes.
Experience with integrated Oracle Applications and their impacts on the General Ledger & Sub-ledger Accounting.
Experience with design, testing and maintenance of Oracle General Ledger Allocations.
Experience in metals industry and manufacturing sector, focused on steel production and mining operations.
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and methods.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to work with a cross-functional team towards a common objective.
Ability to lead effective meetings, including user design review sessions and stakeholder review meetings.
