Duration: 6+months
Job Description
Candidates with
strong PL/SQL oracle skills
Database
Conversion Experience
Knowledge in MS SQL
Server DB system and T-SQL
Oracle PL/SQL Developer is needed to
develop and manage PL/SQL processes, including ETL as part of a team of 20 who
build, integrate and maintain all systems supporting the company.
Good understanding of relational
database especially Oracle and its modules, utility packages
Performance tuning concepts,
exception handling
Normalization concepts
Experience in working with or
knowledge of large databases
Knowledge of rule based / cost
based optimization in Oracle
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage PL/SQL
processes, including data Extraction and integration
Analyze current organization of
data, then optimize and tune for large data volumes/loads
Design and create physical data
models
Work closely with database team to
deliver user requirements
Investigate and resolve system
deficiencies
Requirements:
8+ years in Oracle
development
8+ years in a data Integration
environment
2-3 years experience with
large-scale ERP or E-commerce systems (transactional, high-volume)
Proven ability to analyze source
systems
Advanced understanding of SQL
Knowledge in Linux
