Urgent need for Middleware (Windows and IIS Admin or Unix/Linux with experience in middleware technologies)

Position: Middleware  (Windows and IIS Admin or Unix/Linux with experience in middleware technologies)
Location: Westlake, TX
Duration: 6+Months

Provide level 3 and 4 support (at times outside of business hours) for projects and implemented applications.
The following skill/knowledge , Experience administering, and engineering
-Applications: Middleware, Client- Server Applications.
-Web servers: Apache Tomcat, IIS, Web logic /jboss
-Operating Systems: Linux\Unix and Windows Server 2003 and 2008
-Monitoring tools: HP Site Scope,BAC

Job Description:

·         Provide various application support services for our software applications, including problem analysis and resolution.
·         Should have experience/exposure in working on new initiatives and projects in middleware application support.
·         Troubleshoot middleware\Application issues.
·         Deploy middleware solutions to staging and production environments.
·         Application and server performance analysis
·         Assist in project design and ensure the project meets operational requirements.
·         Plan, coordinate and respond to application outages and change management processes.
·         Maintain version, patch and security levels in accordance with the strategic direction of the customer.
·         Communicate technical and non-technical information to support groups, end-users, senior management and vendors.
·         Develop and document procedures, policies, and how-to guides to increase efficiency and meet the needs of the business.
·         Increase efficiency by designing and implementing best practices and process automation
·         On call support.
