Urgent Need for Senior Java Developer

Position: Sr. Java Developer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 3+ Months

Job Description
• 10+ years in designing and developing java frameworks and products
• Strong programming experience with Java, J2EE, Design Patterns, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, RDBMS, SQL, is required
• Good understanding of web technology, web services, SOA, REST, SOAP related standards (one or more of these skills would do)
• Hands on experience with agile product development
• Experience with GIT, AND/OR ClearCase
• Experience with participating and conducting code reviews, developing test cases, and authoring use cases.
• Batch programming/scripting/task automation and development experience with Windows and Unix/LINUX Shell.
• Strong communication skills
and the ability to work well within a diverse multicultural environment and with varying levels of management.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving
• Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment, work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional work related experience 

Responsibilities
• Design and develop the next generation Localization framework
• Interpret written and verbal requirements and specifications
• Create and execute development plan in agile mode
• Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses
• Be a team player, and provide technical guidance to other software engineers, and to learn from them as well 

Experience with the following is a plus:
• Experience in developing process workflows engine
• SDK for Translation Management System(TMS) and Localization tools, especially SDL, Trados, WorldServer, ONTRAM
• Localization processes for Agile development processes
• Integrating machine translation technologies into TMS systems.
