Our client in Baltimore, MD is seeking multiple Software Security Engineers to join their team on a long-term contract basis.
Responsibilities:
· Working knowledge of the Java language version 6 and the Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) specifications version 5.
· Experience with JEE Application servers such as GlassFish, JBoss, and Tomcat is desirable.
· Experience with the programmer’s tools Eclipse, Maven, SVN, and JIRA is desirable.
· Working knowledge of the W3C Web Services Security Profile and related technologies.
· Specific working knowledge of specifications and available tools for:
· SOAP 1.2 over HTTP/S with Transport Layer Security
· X.509 Public Key Infrastructure
· Digital signature
· WS-Security
· SAML2
· eXtensible Access Control Markup Language (XACML) Standard, version 2.0
· ebXML Registry Information Model (RIM) Standard, version 3.0
· ebXML Registry Services (RS) Standard, version. 3.0.
· Experience with the application of the above technologies to control and enforce access control policy, message security, user authentication, non-repudiation, message integrity, etc. in a production environment, preferably a health-care related environment.
· Familiarity with the currently available COTS and FOSS software offerings implementing the above specifications, and the ability to write authoritatively about the pros, cons, and trade-offs inherent in selecting and using such products.
Education:
· An undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 11 years of professional experience, or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a computer related field with 11 years of professional experience.
