Job position        :   ETL Developer with Business Objects

Location               :   Camp Hill, PA

Duration              :  6 months

REQUIRED SKILLS:

ü  Understanding of BI/DW concepts, relational and dimensional data modeling.

ü  Solid understanding of RDBMS, preferably MS SQL Server.

ü  Excellent understanding of ETL concepts and tools, with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL jobs.

ü  Solid understanding of SAP BO Web Intelligence and Xcelsius, or familiarity with other BI tools

ü  Solid understanding of BO Universes, or familiarity with other semantic layer tools.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

ü  Hands-on experience with SAP BO Data Integrator/Data Services.

ü  Hands-on experience with Web Intelligence and/or Xcelsius.

ü  Hands-on experience developing and maintaining BO Universes using SAP BO Designer.

ü  Experience in ETL and SQL performance tuning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ü  Maintaining and performance tuning existing ETL jobs using SAP BI Data Services.

ü  Maintaining and making updates to existing WebI reports and Xcelsius dashboards.

ü  Developing new ETL jobs, Universes, and reports to meet new reporting requirements.

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:

Converts a design into a complete information system. Includes acquiring and installing systems environment; creating and testing databases; preparing test case procedures; preparing test files; coding, compiling, and refining programs
