Job Position  :    DB2 DBA Consultant

Location        :     Springfield, IL

Duration      :      6 + Months  

Rate              :      DOE

DB2 Required Skills:

•           Experience w/ IBM DB2 v9.5 IBM DB2 SQL

•           Experience w/ Developing and Optimizing IBM DB2 Queries

•           Experience w/ IBM DB2 Database Tuning and Optimization

•           Experience w/ mass data updates and ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) leading practices

General

•           Ability to communicate clearly with project management

•           Ability to pick up new technology like Crystal Reports – prior experience is a plus

DB2 Responsibilities:

•           Develop, test and maintain J2EE/SQL batch programs and interfaces as well as develop and maintain DB2 data models.

Experience:

•           Prior experience administrating DB2 (6-8 years)

•           Experience in writing and performance tuning SQL queries. (4+ years)

•           Experience w/ Developing and Optimizing IBM DB2 Stored Procedures(4 years preferred)

•           Technical writing
