Job Position  :    Cisco Network Data Engineer

Location        :     Phoenix

Duration      :      12-18 months

Rate              :      $45/ hr

Skillset
       Familiar with Cisco Products including 6509 series switches and Routers

·         Understanding of Layer 2 switching

·         Experience with application engineering of complex data flows

·         Network monitoring/capacity planning (Lucent VitalSuite, Concord eHealth, NetQoS Reporter Analyzer)

·         Performing application analysis and pre-deployment validation using Opnet tools

·         Experience with HP Digital Workflow

·         Vendor interface (Verizon, ATT, AllStream, and British Telecom)

·         Collecting reporting metrics and creating global reports on the networks health, submit to the client and account leadership

Netflow and layer 2-7 traffic analysis. Correlation of layer 2 counters, layer 3 session data and application layer data. Develop engineering analysis on peak usage, monthly usage, statistical usage patterns, etc. Access usage differences by time of day, busy hour, monthly variance, etc. Experience and knowledge of Data modeling
