Oracle DBA

 Location : Raleigh, NC 

Duration : 6+ months

Providing Oracle DBA support to customer's SuSE Linux Oracle support team. Duties will include the following:
• Perform database overall database administrator support
• Perform database administration
• Monitor databases
• Perform database backups and recovery
• Resolve production problems
• Perform daily maintenance of resolving problem tickets
• Perform database patching
• Upgrade databases
• Develop and maintain shell scripts
• Perform query and database tuning
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Ability to program in PL/SQL
• Design and develop database structures

Qualifications: Skills:

• Minimum 5years of Oracle DBA experience
• Experience in database administration of different database versions 9i, 10g, 11g
• Experience in administering databases on operating systems Solaris, Linux, Windows, AIX
• Experience in Oracle RAC, ASM, Dataguard stndby
• Experience in Multimaster replication
• Experience in performing database backup recovery using RMAN
• Familiarity with architecture, both logical and physical design
