** Looking for an individual that has experience in older technology,
ASP language, and can migrate that code to the latest technology, ASP.NET
Must Have

Role
To
design, develop, modify, evaluate, and debug applications to support CDW
business needs. The Application Developer is responsible for creating software
solutions through object and data modeling, database design, programming,
system architecture specifications, quality assurance, and implementation
support. This position is involved in all phases of the software development
lifecycle methodology and is accountable for managing development projects as
assigned by the Senior Project Manager.
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Work
with business teams and business analysts, as required, to clarify requirements
and business needs.
•
Collaborate with other developers and architects (when appropriate) to
determine optimal solution architecture, efficiency, maintainability, and
scalability.
•
Develop high-level system narratives, storyboards, and user interface
prototypes.
•
Develop system test plans, ensure software quality assurance (SQA) standards
are achieved, and validate that business goals are accomplished.
•
Develop applications to industry coding standards and quality.
•
Assist with code review and system/unit testing
•
Complete projects/tasks on a timely basis, according to commitments made to
stakeholders and management.
Responsibilities
• Participates
in project planning with business stakeholders to provide the most effective
use of software development time against the highest return on investment
objectives
• Is
responsive and customer service oriented to all stakeholders via phone, email,
etc. during the engagement. Maintains open and courteous communication.

Analyzes existing applications and identifies opportunities for improvement
•
Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards as
appropriate
Qualifications
•
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge/experience.

Years application development experience, including but not limited to:
o
Experience with object oriented design and programming techniques
o
Experience in requirements gathering, design, construction, and implementation
o
Experience in data reconciliation and trouble-shooting
•
Demonstrate intermediate level of the following technical experience:
