Informatica Architect - Project
Manager / Delivery Lead Informatica + DB2 Data Warehouse.
·
SQL ETL Informatica Power Center
9.1 Technical Expert with Ability to Lead and Manage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·
Informatica
MDM design and development on Powercenter Manage a team of developers, DBA,
support resources.
·
Work
with practice lead to help manage client engagement.
·
Work
with global resources to control design and lead development activities.
·
Fluctuating
work schedule can be expected during nights and weekends depending on system
availability and deliverable dates.
·
Works
closely with Client Analytics and Marketing users to understand informational
needs and business challenges, document those requirements, and translate into
solutions Maintain detailed knowledge of the data and business rules underlying
the data Focus on data quality including data governance process,
interoperability, and data management tools Troubleshoot and query existing
data to identify problems and come up with solutions for data integrity
problems
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: -

Seven
to ten years of Data Warehouse experience along with three to five years of
Informatica and DB2 database experience needed
·
Strong
SQL Knowledge is REQUIRED. –
·
Strong
understanding of using ETL tools to integrate systems. –
·
Knowledge
of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). –
·
3+
years working with DB2 or equivalent RDBMS is preferred. –
·
Informatica
Power Center 9.1 experience preferred. –
·
Java
development experience preferred –
·
Detailed
knowledge of and experience of Informatica data integration technology –
·
Detailed
knowledge of and experience in DB2 database technology. –
·
General
knowledge of and experience in one or more data integration, reporting, and
data warehouse technologies from a project management, design, and development
standpoint
EXPERIENCE PREFERED
·
Responsible
for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Data Models and
associated Meta Data that describe the business processes and the information
that the processes depend on to facilitate our enterprise data warehouse
solutions.
·
Formulated
Abstract and Physical Data Architecture for large complex business problems,
addressing both the short and long-range business impacts.
·
Conducting
quality assurance through the information development life cycle Knowledge of
and experience in other data integration technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM,
Informatica, Oracle, SAP, SAS). Knowledge of and experience in other database
and data warehouse technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Teradata, Oracle, IBM).
·
Maintained
Data Dictionary and advised data warehouse users on file field and data source
usage. Designed data-marts consisting of fact tables and dimensions and
facilitate the construction of web reporting off those structures.
·
Developed
technical and business reports to support the logical and physical data base
designs. Provided input to data architectural standards.
·
Master's
degree in Engineering or Information technology preferred.
