Location:  McLean, VA
Duration:  6+ Months

Requirements:

Strong Backend testing experience - MS-SQL/UNIX 

Heavy SQL experience, must be able to write complex SQL queries for joints, sub-queries, functions and procedures and be able to code SQL  in the interview 

Strong problem solving with ability to analyze complex system requirements and define discreet test scenarios to provide full functional coverage 

Experience with different testing methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile and Scrum 

Strong Analytical skills in Requirement Analysis and Business Process Testing 

Experience with UNIX batch processing and file manipulation, Shell Scripting is a plus 

Strong knowledge in Data warehouse Testing

Urgent Need QC Testers

Dear all,
please check the below requirement if you have suitable consultant revert me as soon as possible with updated profile,

Position : QC testers

Location: Baltimore . MD

Duration: 6 months to extend

 Job descriptions:

 1.  At least 4-6+ years’ manual testing experience. 

 2.  At least 2-3 years experience testing client/server and web applications.

 3. Understanding of SDLC.

 4.  SQL experience.

 5. Must be able to write own test plans/cases.

 6. Experience with MS Visual Studio/Test Manager a plus. 

 7. They are being very picky in their search however, so please make sure that anyone you send has solid QC skills and thoroughly understands QC methodologies.

Our client, in the Greater Boston area, is looking for a SQL Server DBA with the following skill set:

Responsible for supporting and developing carious databases, while ensuring scalability and performance

Architecting database components as well as being responsible for implementation and maintenance

Perform Administration tasks on Oracle or SQL Server to ensure performance (replication, turning, configuration, troubleshooting, etc…)

Design and Implement reporting solutions

Requirements:

5+ years of expert level SQL DBA experience in SQL Server with some Oracle

Designed and implements integrated data and process models, process flows, and logical database designs, and transforms logical designs into physical designs.

Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL code and Stored Procedures

Excellent in creating, functions, views triggers and indexes.

Expertise in DTS/SSIS setup

Good command in tSQL and SQL Server 2005/2008 utilities

Good exposure to UNIX with Shell/Perl scripting

Shell/Perl Scripting

Good communication skills (written/oral)

SQL SERVER DBA WHO HAS EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND HAS WORKED A LITTLE BIT WITH ORACLE  (80% SQL SERVER AND 20% ORACLE)
