We are currently seeking a candidate who will serve as the Siteminder Specialist within a team responsible for implementing federated single sign-on within large scale system integration projects and for ongoing production support of this environment.  The successful candidate must be familiar with multiple federated identity management standards to include Web Services, SAML, XACML, WS-Security (and other WS standards), WS-Federation, and other Identity and Access Management technologies as well as J2EE and Java technologies. Responsibilities

Our Client is seeking a Data Migration Specialist to assist in the design and implementation of a vendor-supplied Special Education Student Information System (SESIS).  The Data Migration Specialist will focus on facilitating, analyzing and documenting the existing Client’s system data as it pertains to Special Education student. SESIS (Special Education Student Information System) is a COTS (Common Off The Shelf) vendor-supplied, configured and managed solution that will be used to track the full case-cycle of a student requiring Special Education Services within the New York City. Our client currently manages over 190,000 special education students in over 1500+ public schools.  Client currently tracks students using a mix of custom legacy solution and small distributed web applications.
The Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
  • Support the Vendor’s analysis of existing data feeds and current Client’s data systems, data conversion and integration solutions required to support SESIS business processes
  • Analyze data in various applications, mapping the data between various Client source systems and ensuring the accurate importing of data to SESIS.
  • Analyze, prepare and execute data cleansing services
  • Support and perform User Acceptance Test activities for the SESIS Data Conversion, cleansing and integration solutions
  • Ensure that proper documentation is captured, maintained, understood by and available to business and/or IT partners
  • Escalate critical technical issues and potential problems as needed to the SESIS Project Manager to address any SESIS related issues in advance of deadlines
